As the first GoW 4 leaks start to see the light. Most God of War fans are getting anxious as they think that the God of War IV trailer is already done and soon to be released, even though the actual game is not ready and there are no actual pictures of its gameplay. As usual the God of War Teaser Trailer is set to be released first.

this is dumb it took them years to make god of war 3 if you look at the behind the scenes of gow3 it took them over a year and a half to decied posidens character layout… wouldnt happen till probably… 2016 or later

The staff at santa monica starting working on god of war 3 in 2007 and they were finished around early 2010. about 3 years, and if they want to beat and overshadow the previous title they are gonna need atleast the same time….but who’s to say they didn’t start on it immediately after gow3, plus technology has improved and most of the characters and places willl be te same , not like they can improve the graphics of gow3 any more the game was absolutely gorgeous ! in gow3 they had to start from scratch but thats probably not going to be the case in gow4, as they have all the basics! i could be wrong though..

GOW4 was being made as soon if not while GOW3 was being released.. its obvious cause they left small holes in GOW3 to make a part 4, something small can easily be made into a big deal expecially concerning Kratos, and Zues.. perhaps Zues comes back like Athena?? who knows??

Now the technology exists, it would be easier to make a GOW game on PS3, L.A noire was in the works in 2008 but they said it would take 2 years or less to make a sequel because now the tech exists. Plus after the credits in GOW 3, you see the blade of olympus ad a blood trail, no Kratos… maybe he was taken in by a hermit and nursed back to health. Oh and billy, dont mean to burst your bubble but its spelt Zeus not Zues. Just sayin

Ummm actually your wrong the Titans are children Uuranus and Gaia, whom contrary to popular belief is not a Titan. And from Chaos came two beings Uuranus (father heaven), and Gaia (mother earth). From them came the Titans, and from the Titans Kronos and Rhea came the Gods. You people need to study the actual mythology behind the GoW games because while the majority of the story in GoW is true, some of it is completely false.

I am glad to read something from someone who actualy knows what they are talking about when it comes to God of War and Greek Myths. I have been studying Greek and Egyptian Mythologies for years and love when i play god of war because the GoW team got it right at many to most turns.
I wrote the book, God of War Egyptian Bloodlines because there is more to the game that the creators left out there. The book is being blogged piece by piece and you can find it by Googleing the name of the book.
Kratos has many more adventures ahead of him and this book only begins the saga that Sony started.

) it all leads up to chaos….and If Chaos is the begining of both Gaia and Uranus then ultimately he is the father/creator of all mythological beings in the greek myths….in the end it doesnt matter im just really psyched about playing another God Of War title….i mean there are still a few heroes and Demi Gods that Kratos can rip apart in his good ol fashion way….cmon taking on Uranus or Chaos alone would be Legendary!….anyways ppl hope it comes out soon and hope it delivers some needed chaos lol

I personally think Athena brings Kratos back to life at the end of GOW 3 to help maintain peace throughout Greece, because the death of the gods meant chaos all over. So my story line is Kratos must fight to bring order and the big bad enemy should be the KRAKEN because with Poseidon dead who will rule the seas?

I’ve noticed while I was playing the game that for every god I beat the crap out of the world got worst posiden caused a flood,helios no more sun,hades no more death and so on maybe years have passed and the world has gotten so dark and full of evil that kratos is brought back to restore the earth and become god himself…….

I think it might involve him trying to replenish what he
destroyed and this is why
1.The only reason Zeus fought Kratos is because the evils from Pandora’s box consumed him but they were released when Kratos killed him
2.Kratos completed his vengeance against the gods so he feels free
3.Since Athena came back as a spirit why not Zeus? And Kratos has Hades soul so can he die?
Other theories may be right like he has to fight chaos since in the GOW3 trailer it said “In the end, there will only be Chaos”
Also, as mentioned above that Gaia picked the “wrong one” so maybe you get controlled by Gaia as Deimos?
And one more since I saw a rumored leaked gameplay footage about someone (possibly Deimos) telling you to wake up and saying the phoenix drank your blood and healed you(if you saw the phoenix symbol at the end of GOW3 you’ll know) so maybe you fight with Deimos. Guys, I am Greek and I love GoW.
I really hope that there will be a 4th part of it.
First of all, the Olympian Gods are not done yet.
The 12 Gods of Olympus were: Zeus, Poseidon, Apollonas, Hermes, Hephestus, Ares, Hera, Athena, Artemis, Demetra, Estia, Aphrodite.
Hades, Helios, Persephone etc were Gods but not among the 12.
So, there are many Gods that were not included in the trilogy.

1: the first two sisters of fate only went through the mirror that kratos fought his way out of when he was on the sword that killed ares so ARE THEY REALLY DEAD?
2:since helios died is morpheus back in power?
3: as a continuation to your theory of deimos if gaia pick the wrong one and is now controlling deimos is gaia a spirit too, or more especially since deimos could be a playable character and the trailer did say would you leave me here in hell, would they be fighting together against an even more greater threat that has to do with the pheonix and could it involve kratos’ wife and kid
all many interesting questions that i could go on with but it’s something to think about
