God of War 4 Multiplayer is now an Official Rumor

Ever wanted to play Kratos along other people?. The God of War 4 rumor has always been attached to an important new feature to the franchise, the online multiplayer option (some say it’s probably co-op, others says a versus/competitive style would fit better), but now that rumor has become a bit serious since the official Play Station UK magazine has been extremely spefic about Krato’s comeback.

God of War 4 Multiplayer

God of War 4 Multiplayer Feature gets a Serious Rumor

Yes, this time is not PSM3 mag making statements about a supposed release date. We can now say that this rumor is official a Multiplayer God of War is on the works. These exact words come from UK OPSM

Kratos is on his way back, with his next adventure set to feature multiplayer.

Many hard core fans will get really mad at this news of a possible GoW Online. However, it’s a pretty weird thing that such a huge popular franchise has remained offline so far. Our opinion is that as long as they don’t modify the fighting style/gameplay the Multiplayer sequel will be great. They could also add new classes, in the case of making it co-op, because it will feel weird to be surrounded by 10 more Kratos besides you. Who knows, maybe this will become the next WoW. Just imagine new scenarios, that work just like those of GoW 3, and new bosses (the main greek ones have been smashed by the way), a group of five online spartans heading into a dungeon, God of War Multiplayer is coming!.

I have been following this rumour for the past year every since God of War 3 came out and there has been very little news about this so I am not believing this until I hear something from the developers themselves or maybe a screenshot or something, maybe we will hear something at E3! By the way this is a minor complaint but you have to work on your grammar, I don’t mean to make fun of you but it’s kind of annoying, just saying is all.

Multiplayer God of War is a terrible idea! GoW is my favorite game series of all time and I would be very disappointed if these rumors were true.
The end of GoW 3 was a perfect way to end the series… leave it at that, please.

If they add it they’ll make it work somehow, they’re not going to make it suck.

i dnt get when ppl like u say that x__X if u dnt want to play the new gow if it has multiplayer then dnt play it. it isnt like someone is forcing u. ppl will keep playing gow if they keep making it bc its all about money and if they wana try something new then let them. dnt judge until u try it and i dnt see how it will mess up the franchise… if ur tired of it then you end it at gow 3 and never play any other series they make.(just saying)

i don’t like the idea of multi player for the god of war
this is a game you play by yourself how is it going
to work online 5million kratos s running around
its foolish and would ruin a good game i would
love to play god of war 4 but if it means that Sony turns
my all time favorite character into a whore like Mario
or sonic then they should not make it

After the failure that God of War 3 was, I hope they don’t make the mistake of multiplayer in a great single player experience.
As far as I’m concerned they should bring back David Jaffee and Cory Barlog for God of War 4 (if it’s even being made). If they can’t get those to guys, at least hire the team from “Ready at Dawn”. They did a better job than the God of War 3 team. Character driven games with good graphics are better than plot driven games with great graphics. God of War 4 needs to be an incredible experience, one to remember. With the power of the PS3 or upcoming console, they should be throwing hoards of enemies at Kratos, not cheap arena based battles.

you should *** yourself for saying that gow3 was a failure. thats the BEST gow game since the first one. just shut the fuck and stop talking nonsense cause ur making urself sound like a goddamn fool. and ready at dawn are good yea, but to compare them to the gow3 team?? ur *** insane. compare the way ready at dawn made the way kratos runs compared to the way kratos runs in gow3, u dont agree that it looks alot cooler? ur a retard and dont know *** about the god of war series.

PS: Please, please, please no more sending Kratos to the underworld. How many times does he have to go the underworld? It’s like the Star Trek Next Generations movies. How many times did they have to destroy the Enterprise?

Honestly.. when I saw a trailer about god of war IV I thought it was fake but it was true.. they are developing GOW IV and now I can’t wait.. seriously god of war is one of the best games ever.. but I think that they shouldn’t try to make god of war like a call of duty game it would suck but they could make it like a survivor mode that would be cool. but I’m sure this game will be the GOTY no doubt about that.

    Kratos is back!;D

Dude, this better not happen. I prefer the old God of War when its just you vs. Gods and Titans and other great beasts. Online co-op with God of War will just ruin the whole name. The player-vs-player multiplayer might work. But please, please, please, no campaign co-op.

I’m not gonna try it because it’ll end up like Saints Row the Third. Two Kratos looking entirely different doing dumbshit. Thats not God of War.

I would love if God of War IV acted as a prelude to the series, where he made his conquest as a spartan captain. I’m just saying that would be pretty sick.

Study the construction of the game. The opening of the game was incredible. The graphics were best in the opening of the game during the fight with Poseidon. After that, the game settled into a monotonous adventure. When Gaia reappears to stop Kratos, she is much smaller than when the game started. The portion of the game when Kratos encounters Zeus’s wife in the garden was a giveaway as to how rushed the Sony Santa Monica team was. The the modeingl and textures on Zeus’s wife looked horrible. Then later on in the game they insert a cheap side scrolling battle with Zeus. Everything about this game screams “rushed”. Sony needed to get this game out fast because sales of the PS3 were not good. With a game like GOW3, the developers needed more time to really create the experience that GOW3 could have been. The same mistake was made when Sony rushed Ninja Theory to get “Heavenly Sword” releasd. Like GOW3, Heavenly Sword had great potential, but, like GOW3 Heavenly Sword suffered from an accelerated schedule. Let pray that Sony gives their Santa Monica studio the proper amount of time to make GOW4 a great experience. Anything rushed is “no good”.
