God of War IV coming September 2012

First there was Sony Santa Monica Studios posting a job listing on Gamasutra, looking for an online developer to join their GOW team. Then it was the animator's leaked cv, which said a cinematic trailer for God of War 4 was tested. And last but not least, an insider revealed to PSM3 mag that the release date for GoW IV was september 2012. We hope the next leak will be a wallpaper or maybe a teaser trailer.

God of War IV To Be Revealed Next Week, Sony Teases GoW 4 on Facebook

This is the last teasing right before the big announcement to confirm the future release of God of War 4. Sony updated a few days ago its official facebook page, with a poster that cannot be mistaken for anything else that something 100% related to the GoW franchise.

Does the image above reminds you of any other game that includes the elements of “vengeance” and redemption” in their plot as God of War does?. Of course not. The 04.19.2012 will be the date where God of War 4 is finally given a release date. Will the fourth installment of the francise be a online multiplayer co-cop title?, we’ll find out next week.

South African BT Games taking God of War 4 Pre-Orders

And, here we go once again, this time it’s a south african retailer, more specifically, BT Games, the responsible for leaking another proof that God of War 4 is on its way.

Though everyone is confident that the game is indeed being developed (see GoW 4 music orchestrator leak and a couple of linkedin cvs hinting some work done on cinematics and animation, among others), we consider setting a date for God of War 4 release date a bit too much, the retailer says that the title has a ship date for February 2013.

All that considering that the same retailer has unveiled to the public games like Mass Effect 3 and Jack and Daxter Collections, we’ll wait until Sony shows the actual game during the next E3.

Yet Another Linkedin CV hints at God of War 4

Well, here we go again, this is the third time that God of War 4 gets hinted by a Linkedin CV from some recognized (or at least not fake) profile, and to take that reference down right after it gets noticed by the internet media. As usual, it’s just too late by then and everyone has a screenshot of that profile.

First it was a freelance animator working for Motion Logic Studios, after that came Timothy William’s resume, both have long experience working for the gaming industry.
